Hemoglobin is an iron rich protein present in red blood cells which is responsible for transporting oxygen in our body. The normal level of hemoglobin of our body should be 14g/dl to 18g/dl.

When the level of hemoglobin drops down, we start to feel weakness, headache, fatigue, dizziness.

Here are some of the natural ways that helps in increasing hemoglobin:

Take iron-rich foods: Lack of iron in our body is one of the main reasons for low hemoglobin. Adding iron rich food items like spinach, beetroot, egg, almonds, etc. will help in increasing the iron in our body which will also increase the hemoglobin of our body.

Take vitamin C in diet: Taking vitamin c with iron will help the body to absorb iron in a better way. Food like oranges, lemon, papaya and broccoli will help in maintaining your body hemoglobin level.

Increase folic acid intake: Folic acid is used in making of red blood cells which will automatically help in increasing hemoglobin. Beetroot is very good source and it also increase the red blood cells and is also rich in iron, potassium and fiber.

Eat an apple daily:  Eating an apple daily will help you to maintain normal level of hemoglobin in body. We all know apples are rich source of iron as well contain other healthy things which helps in maintaining normal hemoglobin level.

Exercise: Doing regular exercise helps in maintaining normal hemoglobin. Doing exercise help our body to produce more hemoglobin to meet the oxygen demand of our body.

This all are the simple ways of increasing hemoglobin and they also help in maintaining the normal level of hemoglobin in our body. One should take a proper balance diet to ensure that they are taking of all the components in a proper way.
