 In Pregnancy if the mother will get all the nutrients in right amount, then only the child born will be healthier.

There is no magic formula for having a healthy pregnancy diet in fact eating all types of fruits and vegetables, whole grain, protein and fat will promote a healthy diet and will result healthy child and a healthy mother.

Here are some of the important nutrients which is needed for a pregnant lady:

Folate and Folic acid: Folate and Folic acid are Vitamin B complex nutrient which help from preventing the child from natural birth defect. This nutrient also helps from decreasing the risk of premature birth. The good sources of this nutrient are leafy green vegetables, citrus fruit, dried beans and oranges.

Calcium: Both mother and the baby need calcium in good proportion as calcium help our bones and teeth to be strong and grow properly. Calcium also helps in providing muscular and nervous system to run normally. Food which are rich in calcium are you get cheese, Salman, spinach.

Vitamin D: Vitamin D is also very much needed for the mother and the baby as it helped the baby to develop their bones and teeth. Vitamin D can be given to the mother by making her sit in the morning sunlight for few times. Vitamin D rich sources are fatty fishes like Salman and milk and orange juice.

Protein: Protein is very important for the growth of mother and baby throughout the pregnancy. Protein is very important as it helps in the development of our bones. Food that are good source of protein are polity fish milk peanut butter egg.

Iron: Iron is also one of the important components as deficiency of iron may lead to anemia. Our body uses iron to make hemoglobin protein in the red blood cells which helped our tissues to carry oxygen. Food components which are rich in iron are Lean red meat, spinach, fish.

It is very important for a pregnant lady to maintain a balanced diet which contain all the nutrients in right amount for the better development of the baby inside. These are some of the important supplements which should be added in the diet of a pregnant lady to ensure the growth and well-functioning of the baby and the mother.
