The low carb diet is popular . The low – carb diet is the diet which  limits the consumption of carbohydrates but it stresses over to consume more protein and fat rich diet.

Also there are so many types of low carb diet , every diet has it’s own speciality and restrictions .

As carbohydrates are important for the body as they provides us energy but if the person does not works out after that it is converted into body fat , which results in weight gain .

Why one follow low carb diet ?

People follow a low carb diet in tend to reduce weight . some also consumes low carbohydrate diet because if the body will not receive extra carbs , it will not store fat. So the body will burn the already stored fat which will help to promote weight loss .

 What one should eat :

One should eat low carbs foods such as green vegetables, lean meat , fish and eggs , broccoli , fruits such as apples and blueberries , nuts and seeds .

Foods one should avoid :

Bread and grains , pasta , cereal , beer and juice , starchy vegetables , sweetened yogurt etc .

Health benefits of the diet :

The low carb diet doesn’t only promote weight loss but also has other health benefits . But it also may lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and improve heart health . Also if one shed excess weight if also improves their blood sugar and cholesterol levels too .

Health risks :                        

A sudden cut in carbohydrates in the diet can lead to several health conditions such as headaches , weakness , constipation and muscle cramps . Though one should always check what proteins they are choosing . Also limit eating saturated fats and high fat dairy products which may increase heart disease .
