It is very well know that whatever we eat it directly affect our health which also means that they are one of the reasons for developing the risk of chronic diseases in our body like heart disease, cancer and other chronic diseases.


It is seen that the development of cancer is directly due to our diet as our diet play a vital role in development of chronic diseases. 


We can notice that there are various food items that contain some things which help to lower the risk of cancer growth in our body.


There are various food items which help human body in lowering the risk of cancer development in our body and here are some of them.


BROCCOLI: Broccoli which help our body to stop or lower the growth of cancer cells as it contain sulforaphane, which is a plant compound found in cruciferous vegetables which is said to contain potent with anticancer properties.


 According to certain test it is found that broccoli has lowered the risk of cancer development cells up to 75%. 


Some studies have also shown that regular intake of cruciferous vegetables lower the risk of colorectal and colon cancer.


CARROTS: It is said and also found that eating more and more carrots is directly linked to a decrease risk of certain types of cancer. 


According to an analysis it is found that due to eating of carrot stomach cancer has been reduced by 26%. 


It is found that person who smokes if they do not eat carrot three times a day then they can suffer from lung cancer to those who eat carrot. 


We should try to intake carrot in our diet as it is healthy as well as delicious side dish and just by taking carrot once in week will increase your potential and will also reduce the risk of cancer. 


Studies show that consumption of carrot helps you to lower the risk of prostate, lung and stomach cancer.


BEANS: Beans, which are said to be very rich source of fiber is taken in diet as it help to protect you from colorectal cancer. 


According to certain studies those people who consume more cooked and dried beans leads to decrease the risk of tumor recurrence. 


Eating a few times beans in a week will increase fiber intake in your body which will help your body to lower the risk of cancer development in your body.


BERRIES: Berries, they are high in anthocyanin's, plant pigments that have antioxidant properties and it help your body to reduce the risk of cancer. 


With continuous consumption of berries we can reduce the growth of cancer cells by 7%. 


With other study it is seen that the person with oral cancer is given raspberries to reduce the growth of cancer cells. 


Taking few servings of berries in your diet may help you to restrict the growth of cancer cells in your body.


 Berries help to decreases the growth of cancer cells and also help in spreading certain types of cancer.


CINNAMON: It is very well-known for its health benefit. It also helps in reducing blood sugar and ease inflammation. 


Some test tube and animal studies shows that cinnamon help in blocking the spread of cancer cells.


 Including small amount of cinnamon in your diet will help your body to protect  you from the growth of cancer cells and it also have certain benefits like helps in reducing blood sugar and also decreases inflammations.


NUTS: Eating nuts have been found that it help in lowering the risk of some types of cancer cells in our body. 


Eating nuts in your regular diet is seen beneficial and also seen that it has decreased the risk of people dying from cancer. 


Eating nuts was associated with decreased risk of problems like colorectal, pancreatic and endometrial cancers. 


Other studies shows that eating nuts help in lowering the growth of cancer cells and also help in lowering the spread of certain cancer cells.

TURMERIC: Turmeric is a very well known spice of India and is very well known for its health benefits. 


In turmeric there is cur-cumin, its active ingredient which is a chemical with anti-inflammatory antioxidant and even it has anti-cancer effects. 


Cur-cumin has been found that it decreases the spread of colon cancer cells by targeting any specific enzymes which help in cancer growth. It helps in killing of head and neck cancer cells.


 It is found that cur-cumin help in reducing the spread of cancer cells which leads to lung and breast cancer. 


Having regular intake of turmeric in your diet help your body to fight with cancer cells and also reduce its spread in our body.


CITRUS FRUITS: We should eat citrus fruits such as lemon, orange, lime and grapes as they help in reducing the risk of cancer growth in our body.


 Studies have proven that consumption of citrus fruits in your diet lower the risk of cancer. 


Citrus fruits help in lowering the risk of stomach cancer by 28% and also help in pancreatic cancer along with cancer of digestive and upper respiratory cancer. 


We should take citrus food in our diet on regular bases to avoid the growth of cancer cells in our body.


There are some of the food items which help our body to fight with cancer if we take them in our regular diet. 


The growth of cancer is due to some of the food items only so to decrease the growth and to stop its spread I our body we should include these food items in our diet.
